My internship at the Marlene Kurland Makeup Artist Agency added great value in my professional experience. I was
a marketing intern and started out doing Web site and email marketing along with cold-calling. I believe Mrs. Kurland
saw how important I was in the technology aspect of her business and left the cold-calling to the other interns. Because
of this I was able to completely redesign her website and create product advertisements for products in her cosmetics line
to send to former clients and customers. In addition to this I was 100% in charge of her past and current client/customer
list with over 50,000 names, emails, addresses and phone numbers.
During this time I learned the importance of marketing, specifically email, for a small business and the effectiveness
of a good product advertisement.
